Cessna Aircraft Company, based in Wichita, Kansas, delivered the first ever production VLJ, the six-seater Citation Mustang, to Mustang
Management Group of Fresno, California on November 23, 2006.[3]
Adam Aircraft announced that they had an order backlog of 282 of its Adam A700 VLJ offering.[10]
The target calls for the test aircraft fleet to achieve 500 flight hours by August and 750h by late October. Certification remains on track for
31 March 2006, although there are "a few teething problems with 108 [N503EA]". These include snags with door-seal cabin pressurisation and a
nose-gear shimmy.
